Hello again everyone!

Well, here I am again, room 612, some Calculus sudying going on behind me (Jamie and Ivo), a few girls in bed (Lisa and Char), feeling sick and me. I'm writing, well finishing off my History essay. :)

They're all either about asleep or working hard at understanding their work. I'm very impressed. ^_^ I know, why am I on here? I usually type at something to get me going, help me focus on the computer and then getting the essay done is easier!!! >^_^< I love my logic!

I love my Classics TA for cutting me and a few others some slack on that essay, one down a few more to go :) I think I may actually get all this work done!!!!! *impressed*

Jamie's been great to work with lately, oh I didn't write yesterday, did I? ^_^ Well!! In that case......
Yesterday was great! Lisa, Ivo, Jamie and I headed up to the coffee shop up the road, a nice risk little walk, and then sat, cozy in the wondeful atmosphere of a cafe. Lisa and I managed to find some tall armchairs and Ivo and Jamie pulled up a few of th standard metal coffee table chairs to our little coffee table and we worked, or read, or relaxed. It was quite impressive!! We spent most of the afternoon there, and it looks like it's going to become a tradition!! Hopefully we can get a couch next time! *Grins* I love those Italian Soads too though, Lime is a favorite! We'll have to see if they make a good Vanilla one at this shop!
If you haven't tried one of these sodas, then I'd have to say you're either crazy or deprived!! Give it a try sometimes! *smiles*

I actually got to Philosophy thismorning!!! I was ready remotely on time, no brothes to drive to school, my shower was working again, but COLD *Grins*, AND the strikers let us through really quickly!!! I was so impressed!!! Jamie came to class, and I managed to run into all sorts of fun people there *grins*!

Well, I should get back to work, but today's been great!!!! I'm even going to get an assignment taken care of!!! *grins* Talk to all of you soon! (amazed at how short this is yet? *L*)

One last note of the day!
I've fixed up the links on the left, and added Kelsey's blog! :) I hope you all enjoy! I'm getting quite the collection!
I stumbled upon an interesting site today, well really I was pointed towards it by Graham. It's an interesting band, you can give their music a listen too, and for free! They're called Headboard. I liked a few of their songs, especially See You Around, but that could change as I get more...........^_^

Well guys I really ought to at least pretend to try to finish my assignment tonight eh? I'm feeling strangly movtivated, finally getting some quality relaxing time in and resolving things and such made a difference I think.

See, I have great faith in the glorious, hot, steamy bubble bath, filled to the brim and a good book. Namely Susanna Kearsley's The Spendour Falls. Good quality, relaxing reading. Plus I find her writing inspires me in my own, and I know I need a bit of help there with all these essays!! ^_~

Admit it, even guys must have had a bubble bath when they were little. I swear they have power!!! And you look like a lobster afterwards, but it's all worth it!!! *ahhh* I'm so relaxing and no more sore muscles, or less anyhow. Trust me, dancing to "Home for a Rest" (by Spirit of the West, GREAT song to sing to!!) in high heels is not the best plan. All that kicking, spinning and on the toes action uses these muscles you may not have realized exisit and run up above your ankle up the side of you leg..........^_~ And then there was soccer! *grins* I feel great!!!!!!!!!!! :)

Anyhow guys, almost time for the all new episode of X-Files so I'm off, then it's back to homework land! Drop me a line if you come online! *L* I'll be happy for the break!

JA!

God bless guys!

Good evening!

I have returned my faithful audience!!!

Anyways! I've returned to add a new link!! Another friend of mine has begun to blog!! (Looks like Sanjay got myself started, and then I started more people and well, Sanjay has tainted us all with the urge to tell the world what we're up to. And they say the Internet is cluttered with useless information! *L*)

I borrowed this quote from "Hunting Season", the new blog I'm going to add today to my links, it just struck a cord with me! :)

"Whene're with haggard eyes I view,
this dungeon I am rotting in,
I think of my companions true,
who suffered with me at the U-
niversity of Gottingen
niversity of Gottingen"

Ah, suffering............School.............How fitting! *smiles* But I love it.....

That's it, I'm going to go play pool next week. I just thought I'd inform everyone. If anyone would like to join me, feel free to give me a ring. I'm in need of some good CLEAN fun. :)

For those of you with an interest in either things of Irish nature, or just interesting drinking toasts visit Greg's Irish Toasts Post!!!

Hi Justin! See? Look! I did say something directly to you! :p Now you have no excuse!!! *laughs*

So, anyhow, back to more relevant topics........or maybe not.......^_~ I think Bailey's snoring.........^_^

I've decided since I play with those fun little stor troppers so often, I'm going to start posting them. They don't have the right hair cut in the right colour for me, so I'll just post ones that convey my mood. Though the only time I'd stray from my hair colour probably would be to show you that I'm having a "blonde" day! No offence to my favorite blonde friends (*hehe* Char! if we can be considered....unsavory characters together, then we might as well take up the blonde stereotype too!)

I've decided there's a significant lack of space for me to tell you the truly interesting escapades I have these days. Or perhaps there're just more fun in person. ^_~ I plan to go frolicking around the city one day soon, *smiles* I have a few places I'd like to visit. There's nothing like a quaint coffee shop for doing homework or just watching the world pass in an attempt to find inspriation for a story. Yes that's right, I'm trying to come up with a brilliant short story to submit as a prerequisite for a course, assuming it's not limited to people in the English department........We'll have to see!

Anyhow, I shall end this here, good knows I've been procrastinating long enough! :) Or soon anyhow.

I've realized I have a definate need for shopping. Springy clothes have dissapeared since last year, sweaters are just a bit too warm these days ^_^

So, in honour of this and the fun mood I"m in, I'm going to try to post my little stor trooper soon, she's cute, you'll like her!

Adieu my friends, and enjoy!
Greetings and Salutations!

Well, this has certainly been an interesting weekend. ^_^ The Eng production of "The Wizard of Eng" won out Friday night. Lisa, Jamie and I barely made our bus, but point was, we made it! *grins* Just as they were leaving. :)

I should start from the beginning eh? Well, the day had been okay as I recall, fun, but most of it's a blur. ^_^ Lisa edited my essay, thanks hon, and shortly thereafter it was time for history class. So we headed over EARLY aren't you all impressed? Then we see Ivo running across the green with his soccer ball. So of course, we start talking, figuring he's practicing for a game or something, until several others join him. Then I got dragged into a game. I wasn't dressed for it, so I wasn' as eager as normal. Well, Lisa and I joined the best team EVER!!! We won every game for at least an hour and a half. The only reason we lost one was because the guys were getting really tired. There were 3 teams in the end, we switched the losing team every time two goals were scored, so they both had good 10 minute or more breaks!! *grins* All sorts of people came and joined in and we ended up with a large game and lots of fun!!! Ivo, Ian, Ernie Matt you guys ROCK! Lisa, you and me hon, defence all the way! ^_~
That was more fun then I'd had in ages, and thanks Ivo for your hat!!! (I couldn't see beacuse my hair kept blowing in my eyes so he loaned my his hat so I could play ^_^) Man, that was a fun History class........^_^ And after it was fun too!!! *laughs* We eventually came back to Jamie's rez to get ready, and then we just barely made the buses for the production!!

I had to get notes from a guy on 4th floor so we didn't make it for drinks in the Phoenix with Ivo, darn! (They have good food there and Pool!!!)

So the play was well done, esp. for engineers!! *laughs* A boy named Dorothy...*shakes her head* Very typical Eng jokes, but great coreography!! *L*

Then, there's Saturday. I got up around luncht ime, spent the day getting ready, and then got here (Brandon) just in time again! *laughs* Sensing a pattern? I tried SOOO hard to be early too!!!!! But hey, we got on a bus and got to the formal in one piece!

That was a nice night and there's more, but my Mum's here to pick me up, so later! ^_~ I'm sure you can handle the wait!

JA!

Have fun & God bless guys!

Oh!! For the interesting event of the day!!! Well I'd have to to say it was when Greg's hat nealry blew out the window!! Good catch Melissa and Sorry Greg!!! *skeepish grin*

AH, the joys of having the windowns down!!!!

***********************************************************************************************************************

***********************************************************************************************************************
Hey guys!!

What a great day!! First off, I found out how many people actually read this!!! I'm impressed, and here I thought I was talking to myself!! So thanks to Jeff, Kelsey, Sanjay and Char! >^_^< Wow and I don't even know how Jeff got here! *grins* Sanjay I"m guessing?

SO anyhow, that was nifty!!! :) Today, was amazing!!!! Greg, Melissa, Char, Lisa, Sanjay and Kelsey you guys are the BESTEST!!! ^_~ (Practicing my grammar for my essays *hehe*)

Today was a much needed destressing day!! There's nothing like a Spring day to a) give you spring fever and b) give you the urge to drive with the windows rolled down singing to music from years gone, fun and familiar, with good friends. ^_^ While "borrowing" baseball caps and all that good stuff that went on!!! Ah, fun, and conversation. Do you ever have a day where you suddenly remember why you have friends? *laughs* They're amazing!!! :) Sanjay and Kelsey were gone by then, but we ended up having a bit of a girls day, but of course Greg's included! ^_^ Not as a girl but he's one of those guys that you can bring along on that sort of thing. He even returned the favor by changing into something himself *wink* Way to go guys!!!

So, all in all, today was filled with fun adventures, interesting and insightful conversation and of course, singing!!!! As well as ice cream cones and open windows. :) I love ever season!!!! You're so ready for each one as it hits!!!!! And, it's definatley time for spring!!!

Why is this post so early you ask? Well, I'm EARLY to meet Dad, and a door needs fixing before he can leave so we're waiting for him today!!! *yay* So, while I was still in high spirits I thought I'd post!! :) I'll be in work mode soon, and won't have time! I've got to get the dog for a walk, I'm so in the mood! ^_^ Exercise, and then do tons and tons of homework!!!! So I can have fun this weekend of course!! Plus, my dress needs a minor adjustment so Mum and I need to fix it before Saturday. :)

All in all, life is great. On a day like today, who can be anything but great?! *smiles* I love you all!!! And I hope you're enjoying the weather as much as I!! Unless you're further north and still have snow that is *wink*! We still have bits here or there, but not enough to hide the fact that IT IS SPRING!!

HAPPY SPRING and enjoy the day, no matter how much works needs to be done or how tired you are!!!! :) Just remember, we now know why Greg shouldn't grow long hair, sorry hon, (BTW did you make it to your appointment on time?) and where to find cool Hawaiian shirts, and various orange clothing! >^_^<

Oh, and if you read this Kels, I can't wait to heat what you think of the book it's a gem!!! :)

You know what? Trying to do the essay thing, and unfortunately I'm feeling creative and talkative. This is not good when I've done that part of the essay all I need is to slip in quotes and make them sound relevant! ^_~ So, I'm decided to have a go at something I usually avoid doing. I'm going to put up one of those "about me" posts. Brace yourself ^_~...............

Well, I'll go the usual route, what I'm up to, what I like, what I don't, you know the drill! ^_^

Right now I'm in the Humanities program in University. Yes I'm of the indecisive sort, so I entered here and we'll let you know where I end up next year! ^_~ Honestly I have all sorts of ideas I just have to narrow down my choices!! I like too many things!!! I'm now 19, and manage to keep quite busy. Last summer I had a job desigining the web site for McIARS. No it's not up, there's still more information to go on it I'm sure, but when it does go up, I'll send you over! :) I've worked in many different places, the stable, as a day camp councilor (sp?) with the kids, and earlier on at another barn I did day summer camps again only this time I worked with the horses!!! I loved that job!! Boy I wished I still lived around there!!!!! *smiles* Now that was a great job!! A workout, you earned the respect, or lack there of ^_~, of every horse in the camp, almost all of the ones in the barn, and you were able to be in the sun most of the day. Barn's are nice and cool even in the summer so you just had to go indoors to cool off. And, the real bonus was that every week one of us got to lead the kids in their show at the end of the week! ^_^ I've also been a deli girl at Fortinos and a down-route carrier for a local paper. I tend to like outdoors jobs don't I? They were all my favorites!
I'm about to go back to taking riding lessons, and I'll be moving soon. :)

Likes:

Horses!
Who doesn't love those big, wonderful animals!! ^_^ I can't wait to get jumping again, I get excited just at the thought!! riding along trails, flying over courses of jumps, the challenge!!! Ah I miss that!

Exercise - yup, I'm getting back into it again. I find I just feel so great afterwards!! Besides it helps me get rid of all that extra energy that's returning to me again these days!!! ^_^

Intermural Sports - I had so much fun playing soccer and volley-ball, I can't wait until it starts up again next term!!!! ^_^

Socs - I don't know what I would do without it!!!! It's my "home away from home"! *hehe* A great bunch of people who allow us students who are living off campus for one reason or another, be it alone, in a student house or at home, and give us a great welcome week and somewhere to go. We would have missed out on a good time otherwise!! Thanks guys!!! (Hey, not only am I greatful for their help but they made me a REP so I get to go to welcome week again next year! *YES*)

Bus 246 - Ah, Waterloo football game......Best Bus Ever. Need I say more? ^_~

Bailey and Storm - My most faithful friends!!! ^_^

Maggie and Simba - Cute kitties and hey, they keep my feet warm at night!! :)

Social Occassions - I love it all, pool halls, going out for coffee, movie nights, cards, you name it!

Internet - Ah, a strange love for typing away....^_^ I can do this AND homework, at the same time!!! Not too shabby I must say!

Music - I have an unusual love for Japanese music, currently you'll find multiple versions of Fly me to the Moon, mostly sung in English, but with the accents, cutely, by some of my favorite anime characters, how can I go wrong? ^_^ Of course, throw in some Eve-6, I'm finding Treble Charger is growing on me, Jamie's dance music is rubbing off (now I love unchained melody and at first, it was just wrong that anyone had turned it into a dance song but now.....I love it!!!). Of course, you need to throw in some great oldies, the odd bit of pop and the odd song that just strikes my family, from Dido to Me First and the Gimmie Gimmies. ^_^ Prozzac and Aqua have found their way into my play list too.....there's far to many to ever mention them all!! But, we mustn't forget Blink! ^_^

Worms - I blame Jamie. Now there's a funny computer game. Forces you to learn strategy, and yet, you have these cute little worms weilding napalm! The voices are adorable to boot!!! If you haven't tired it, you should!!! :) Apparently it's shareware, I'll have to put it on this comptuer someday......^_~

Rain, and Storms and Lakes! - Okay so this category is a bit messed, but you have to love rain and thunderstorms and swimming in lakes!!! :) You just do! ^_^ You need to go out and jump in puddles occassionally to remind yourself just what it means to be alive. I just recomend doing it when you have a change of clothes! ^_^ Luckily I was going out that night. ^_~ That was a very interesting day!! Char, Lisa and Jamie, you guys are great! :)

Dislikes:

Being upset - it's true! I don't like it. I avoid it at all costs!! It's better to have fun! ^_^

People who put down others - It's just not nice and makes everyone uncomfortable, well not everyone, but it's just cruel.

Talking behind others backs/backstabbing, betrayal - you know the typical dislikes! :)

Cost of Schooling - It's so difficult for people to pay off loans etc. It's just so much money.

Believe it or not, I dislike handing in things late. ^_^ And asking for help, most of the time. When it's little stuff, it's okay but the bigger stuff.....*winks*

So anyhow, there ya go. There's a little blurb on me, or not so little. :) Oops Voyager's on, I'm off!! *grins*

Night guys!

God bless and sweet dreams!

**********************************
Good night! Sleep tight!
Don't let the bed bugs bite!
But if they do,
just take your shoe....
and BEAT them 'till they're
black and blue!

*smiles*

Konnichiwa Minna-San!

Well, first off, I just managed to delete my entire post thus far in an attempt to copy it!! Irony....oh the irony! >^_^<

I hope everyone is doing well! :) This post is going to end up being short now that I've written it once, *smiles* I can condense it! :)

It rained today!! I was very happy!! Nothing picks you up like heading to class and once you hit outside, feeling that nice cool rain. Ahhhh! I loved it!! Just a few gentle drops! I couldn't have asked for a better ending to my day! I was also ON TIME to meet Dad, so it does happen, I am ontime sometimes! :) When it's important, and besides, I've gotten this strange sense of responsibility this week. Having all those assignments hit really woke me back up. :) No more slacking!!! Well, less of it! There's always room for well deserved cat naps and sunbathing (from inside sillies)! :)
Exercise is a great thing too. So is all this healthy eating stuff!!! I didn't realize how much I loved fruit, and yummy salt and vinegar rice cakes!!! Oh and veggies Mmm, fresh veggies! :)
I found some great music the other day, and today, so I'm enjoying some fine mp3s, now if only I had cds to burn it on! *smiles* Somehow they got used......
My friend Bryan is in a music recital soon, and sounds like we might all be going to that!!! Way to go Bryan!!! >^_^<
The Waterdown District High School play is on this weekend for all of you in the area, you should stop by and see it!!! ^_^ As well as the Wizard of Eng showing at Mac, but anyone there knows about THAT already! :) A group is going to that too, so really it's your preference!
I need to watch some anime!!!! It's been too long! :) Just thought I'd share! :)
Today? Interesting expliots? I found out my fellow socs-loungers, but the ones with laptops, (not all, I apologize to those to whom this doesn't apply) enjoy very bizzare videos. :) Like the poor cat that runs into the wall, or skateboarders who fall and break things.....and other funny yet distrubing things, or some that just aren't funny but more distrubing. Hey to each his own and I'll admit, the cat thing, was funny! The poor sweet pussy cat, but it jumped into the wall of it's own accord.....I won't even try to explain, but the poor kitty......
Anyhow! :) Next year could be wonderful. I'm starting to really look forward to being independent. I'm even looking forward to being on my own I think. Shocking huh? :) But it'll be a big change!! And hey, if I get lonely I know where to go, right Lisa and Char? :)
Nothing truly remarkable happened today, but I remembered how much fun some of my friends could be! :) I haven't seen much of Kelsey and Sanjay or Allison lately and it was pretty interesting to say the least! ^_~ Thanks guys! :)
Well, I should get going, I want to get in a quick workout before Voyager starts and then it's back to essay/assignment land! *grins*

Mata ne!!!
Have fun & God bless!

Tuesday, March 20, 2001

Well, not seeing the last post or the new link (See Sanjay's in the sidebar? Jamie's should be joining it soon too! Anyone else with a homepage?)

So, I'll just post this and see if this helps! *grins* JA! (Yes I plan on doing that essay AND the assignment tonight!)
*smiles* Well, today I ...... I'm not overly sure exaclty what I did!!! I'm officially going to the Brandon Formal Saturday, tickets have been bought. Though, Jamie bought mine for me. Now, that was a surprise actually. Though, he did ask me, so technically it makes sense, but still I feel a little guilty. ^_^ It's okay, I'll just have him over for dinner a lot or buy him a few lunches....^_^ Then I can pay him back, but still let him pay for me, ya know? *smiles* He really is a great guy. :) (Good thing he doesn't like to read, then he might actually hear me say lots of nice things about him......*hehe* or at least one!)
Life, is well, interesting. Man, I want to know where my motivation went. That nifty little burning fire inside full of energy and desire to do well, as well as that little voice in the back of my head that nags at me until I do my work.....it's on vacation, or just laughing at me. But I miss it....come back, please!!!!
This promises to be a busy and fun weekend!!! I think I'm going to miss out on a lot of the fun at Char and Kelsey's party this weekend (Hawaiian theme with lots of fun people) because it coincides with formal. But, Jamie and I had talked about the formal ages ago. Sorry guys!! :) But I think we're heading over after, so we should be just in time for the end of the fun!!! :) We'll be all partied out by then anyhow!! I love my shoes, but still, dancing all night in them does eventually tire one out! Even if I won't admit to it....I like them too much! :)

OOOH! I finally did it!!!! I broke a heel! *L* This was a while ago but I found it rather funny. See, picture everything, still snowy, but after a warm spell, so now it's icy too. We've agreed to help out a group of engineers try out as redsuits. Hence, nurse uniforms. So, I'm in heels. Well we all are, but I was playing with them. I always have. Never been a problem before, but I always knew it could be so I usually only play on them for a few minutes, rocking back, it's fun! You guys miss out on that!!! ^_^ Anyhow, I felt my foot sink and managed to jump upright in time to save it from completely detaching. I, being delicate and feminine as I am, started stomping it back into place, after removing it and jamming it back in with my hand. ^_^ Image now walking across campus trying not to lean at the wrong angle......:) Well, it got me out of helping to carry any of the bribes (6 packs of favorite alcoholic beverages, some various forms of beer to much more complicated elixirs) or the "statue" or any of their other creations or props. Though, I did have to carry the grapes. Yummy!! ^_^ Lisa had the strawberries, but honestly, I was more of a fan of my grapes! ^_^ Well, rather than divulge any details about this part of my night.........it's bad enough that there are pictures, making our eng buddies look too good, and the discovery of the only stairs in the residence we happened to have to go to......the stairs are those really neat ones with holes in them.......

Anyhow, that was my weird story for the evening! :) I hope you enjoyed it!!! Man, this history essay is very inspiring! :)

By the way, any one have suggestions of good majors for next year? Just in case! ^_~

Anyhow, I'm snacking on my fruits and veggies downstairs, so I'm going to leave. Mum returned from the store bearing gifts! Yummy! I was in desparate need of a snack! Yup, I'm on a health food "kick". Honestly, I feel so much better, and fruit and veggies are so yummy! Who needs chocolate honestly! Well, the odd bit is still nice! :) Add that to my new love of pushups and my exercise ball (what a fun work out! *hehe* Though when I'm on the phone, the occassional "oof" or laugh when I play on it and manage to fall off at an awkward angle....^_^ It's too bad none of my Brampton friends have email, man, the giant ball....ah the memories! When you're little those giant balls are huge, and....oh don't be sick!)

Anyhow, I did say I was departing didn't I? Well then, I must depart, my fruit is calling! ^_^ Adieu and farewell worthy friends and internet travellers!!
(I get cheezy when it's late, I can't help it! *smiles*)
You guys are the best. Thanks for everything. (You know who you are ^_~)
JA!
God bless and have fun!

Well, first off, OOPS, I haven't fixed the links, or lack there of below yet, but it's bed time so I'll take care of it later! (Ah, the words of a true procrastinator! ^_^) Belileve it or not, I got my Mmedia draft done and IN ON TIME!!!! We're all very impressed. Sadly, a few other assignments had to suffer, but they'll all get in, don't you worry! :)

Well, looks like I'm going to the Brandon formal this weekend after all! Now, what to do with the rest of my free time? Plays? Which ones? And then there's something else too that remains elusive but I know there's another possible commitment in my memory somewhere! *L*

Oh, and by the way, my group in multimedia (mmedia) won the $100 000 grant tonight! *smiles* That is, if my prof and TA had that much! ^_~ Our Opera Company web proposal won, not too shabby I think!! That was a fun class!!! One of the first truly worthwhile ones yet, I actually had to think!! I'm impressed! Not to downplay Classics History 1L06 of course!

Well, time to go, I should get some sleep. I have a LOT of essays to write!!

JA!

Almost forgot!!
I have a few links of note, first off, blogs beloning to buddies of mine:

Sanjay: http://members.home.net/sseegobin/blogs
Jamie: http://leebodyj.blogspot.com/

And hey! Here's a neat place where you can make your own "Stor Trooper", it's a little avatar that you can make look, just like you! ^_^ Now unfortunately they don't have short brown hair.......but hey, nobody's perfect! ^_^ Check it out, you might have fun with this for your web pages! For an example, check out Sanjay's blog! It's the little guy on the left of his page, it really does look like him! >^_^<

OH MY! It's becoming a trend, I keep getting up early! :) Or on time really! *L*

Oops, not so early now, it's nearly 11. That's what I get for leaving to get food. Little did I know that we have a shortage of breakfast food I like *smiles* (my own fault for not being around enough to put in suggestions) so I made pancakes!! ^_^ Aren't you all impressed!!! Ah, I like cooking. It's almost more satisfying when you make it, almost. ^_~ So, being up early, for some reason I decided now was an excellent time to post, but really, nothing has happened yet except for brief phone and ICQ conversations. ^_^ So, I shall leave you there and with the quote I have for today, but it seems a little weak so I think I'll suppliment it with another ^_~. Hope you all have a good day and since I'll be homeworking again, feel free to drop me a line, chances are I'm near the computer, at the desk, or in WordPerfect plugging away!! Have fun & God bless guys!

*smiles* I found this and couldn't resist posting it.......

When God Created Canada...
Once upon a time in the Kingdom of Heaven, God went missing for six
days. Eventually, Michael the archangel found him, resting on the seventh day.
He inquired of God, "Where have you been?"
God sighed a deep sigh of satisfaction and proudly pointed downwards
through the clouds, "Look Michael, look what I've made."
Archangel Michael looked puzzled and said, "What is it?"
"It's a planet," replied God, "and I've put LIFE on it. I'm going to
call it Earth and it's going to be a great place of balance."
"Balance?" inquired Michael, still confused.
God explained, pointing to different parts of Earth, "For example,
Northern Europe will be a place of great opportunity and wealth while Southern
Europe is going to be poor, the Middle East over-there will be a hot spot. Over
there, I've placed a continent of white people and over there is a
continent of black people."
God continued, pointing to different countries, "This one will be
extremely hot and arid while this one will be very cold and covered in
ice." The Archangel, impressed by Gods work, then pointed to a large land mass
in the top corner and asked, "What's that one?"
"Ah," said God, "That's Canada, the most glorious place on Earth.
There's beautiful mountains, lakes, rivers, streams and an exquisite
coast-line.The people from Canada are going to be modest, intelligent
and humorous and they're going to be found traveling the world. They'll be
extremely sociable, hard-working and high-achieving, and they will be
known throughout the world as diplomats and carriers of peace. I'm also going
to give them super-human, undefeatable ice hockey players who will be
admired and feared by all who come across them."
Michael gasped in wonder and admiration but then proclaimed. "What about
balance, God? You said there will be balance?"
God replied wisely, "Wait until you see the loud-mouth bastards I'm
putting next to them."
(Feel free to send this to any Americans you know)

Sorry guys, it was just too funny not to post! >^_^<

Wow! St. Patrick's Day everyone!! >^_^<
Today? Ah, not overly exciting event wise, yet! :)

First off, I've been cleaing for a good portion of the day, my room's been slowly improving!! I had some overhauling to do, exp. with the upcoming move, I have to sort through stuff, throw stuff out, you know, the usual pre-move, pre-house showing stuffs! :)

I've been working hard today, isn't that a shock? I actually almost feel bad stopping to write this!!! I've somehow gotten a new work ethic, it's nice having life put into perspective isn't it?

Dropping by a pool hall tonight it looks like, that should be fun!! My last game at the Eng Pub proved just how out of practice I was!! *laughs* Oh boy! Somehow, everyone's expecting me to plan.....I'll call them up soon I guess, WOW it's after 7, it should be soon huh? I'll just finish what I"m working on now and go I guess!! *laughs*

Well, we'll end here, still got work to do!!! That's this weekend, work city!!! I have 6 or more assignments due Mon. -Tuesday ish, so I'd better get a move on!! *smiles*

Have fun & God bless guys!!!

I think I'll keep this quote thing up, I find them fairly motivational, don't you? :)

Does anyone else suffer from an urge to curl up on the couch, surrounded by friends and watch absurd movies, like Runaway Bride, Ever After, Gone in 60 Seconds (all for the cars! :), Lethal Weapon, Mulan, Disney in general, oh and a few good "guy movies" the titles escape me, good fun smash 'em up movies!!! Nothing overly thoughtful, just.....fun. ^_^

Well I said I'd go, so I am!!! Bye guys.

Well, the upside is, there were several paragraphs here that will now be condensed into a few sentences. The down side? I just lost about 10 minutes worth of typing! *laughs* Ah, and I have NO idea how I did it.......must've hit a button on the keyboard when I shut off the alarm.....*laughs*
No, I didn't just get up, I've been up for HOURS, Jamie had set his alarm in case he fell asleep. Yup, this seems to be one of my fav locations for posting, good 'ol Brandon Hall. :) I needed a homework break, badly. One can only read for so long when they're tired! *grins* Not that it's not interesting stuff, I just need to occupy my mind for a bit and typing away is great for that! *grins*
Ah, sleep, what's that? Funny, I didn't need it much in the past!!! Now, it's a rare commodity, and an almost sinful pleasure when I can steal a few minutes nap here and there.......*hehe* Ah soon it'll be summer and then I'll be working for money at least! :) *hehe*
I could be moving as soon as well, before May 1st, or so I've found out. Depends on whether I take a job up here or the job in Bruce. Yikes. I need more details and I'm running out of time! :) But I'm going to miss school. I love university!
Life is pretty good on this end. Despite the fact that 2 or 3 of my worst fears happened in the last week or so and I've discovered they're not all that bad. Especially if I don't focus on them. Besides, it's not like I couldn't have prevented them if I'd seen it coming right? *Grins* And now that it's happened, I'll know what to avoid in the future. Hmmm, deciding how much to trust is really hard sometimes, but it's worth doing I've decided. It's a small price to pay. *smiles* AH.....I feel WAY too grown up these days. I've even been fairly quiet and mature......(do you find that scary and unbelieveable too?) it's downright disturbing. I need to get some sleep then go out and have a little fun! Anyone up for some pool? ^_~ I desperately need the practice!
Well, I should get going, I have another class in a few minutes, *hehe* See you around!

JA!

There is so much good in the worst of us,
And so much bad in the best of us,
That it ill behooves any of us,
To find fault with the rest of us.

Hello again! >^_^<
Here I am, doing "homework"! Jamie's SUPPOSED to be doing homework, so I'm playing around on his computer until I manage to convince myself to work. Ah, extensions, gotta luv 'em!!!! SANJAY told me that the due date for my essay was wrong, and I assuming he had gotten an update, took his time instead of mine!! *laughs* AH, I bet he missed that class....so thanks Sanjay but I have until NEXT Tuesday!! But really, thanks for telling me, if it had been due I would've been lost without you! You're the best!!!! ^_^ So now, that's 3 essays next tuesday! :) Oh wait.......I just realized I forgot about Philosophy.....DARN! I gotta start writing this stuff down..............
Today? Not as exciting!! It's my brother's birthday, HAPPY BIRTHDAY STEVE! And therefore, family dinner and a movie!! Ah I love little kids birthdays!!! :) And hey, Jamie was invited!! ^_^ Bonus! :)
I even got time in at SOCS, apparently on the 30th I have some sort of meeting to attend....I'll have to remember to check my agenda to remember to go.....*grins* And a general meeting too........^_^
Ah, no sleep is fun! :) I haven't been in this good a mood in a while, (except last night...talkative would be an understatement.^_^) despite my defeat at Worms! Hogwarts WILL come back and defeat you one of these days Ace!!!! ^_^ I'm keeping up MUCH better now, one of these days I'll develop a better strategy....*hehe* I did win one round and the second was close!!! ^_^ Gotta luv worms.....
Well, I'm running low on Coke (a-Cola guys! Yeesh!!! I'm this happy all the time! *hehe*) and I have this strange craving for....something, I'm not sure, but I'm running off to Commons!! It's really good I'm not in rez, or else you'd have MORE to read, is that possible? *Grins* Well, any of you who used to email me remember how long my emails used to get!! Believe it or not, I've been pretty quiet for a while, yet I make up for it now!! *hehe*

Catch ya later guys!!!

SEE! Other people believe this!! And yes, there apparently IS SST (Stacey Standard Time) *grins*
Fixed the time problem......
Okay, now that we've gotten a look at this site, it's safe to say it'll look like this for a few days, or longer. Once I've got some more time, or maybe before then while I'm taking 'breaks" between and during assignments, I'll get this spiffed up a bit! :) Well, welcome to my blog! Ah, my ability to ramble is renowned, I hope you enjoy at least some of it! ^_^
Today was mostly interesting for my attempts at doing work. But, after nearly falling asleep in class, which is a near first, I normally enjoy class, I did try to read, but then curled up to read feeling all drowsy..... *grins* That's what I get for studying in a dorm room, on a bed. ^_~ Well, I didn't sleep, I just managed to daydream my way through long time periods, periodically resurfacing to talk to Jamie during his study breaks and to do more reading!
On the up side, I think I might have a topic for my essay.....^_^
Oh, today I saw, from a distance, a car accident!!! Yikes! Squeeling and swerving and everything. I didn't see the impact, to many cars jutting around it. Looked like one took off afterwards. One lots things from the front end and pulled over. Looked like everyone was okay but I wasn't close enough to be a REAL witness....That's too bad. I'm really glad no one was hurt though.
Ahh, it's nearly 2 (despite what the post thingy says, it's really 2 AM here!! 2:01 exactly, I wonder why that's wacked? OH! New word! :) For me anyhow....) and I'm not really getting much further on my essay this way......so, much to all of your dissappointment, I'm going to head off now *wink* Hope ya'll keep having fun! We've got to get another pool game going (late night Waterloo trip anyone? Huh?), and some more dancing, definately more dancing!!! ^_^
Ja minna-san!
Hey! Just testing this out, my first blog! Ah the things we do when trying to come up with a good essay topic......
