Eighteenth-century English essayist Joseph Addison:

"Friendship improves happiness, and abates misery, by doubling our joys, and dividing our grief."
I had to post this one when I read it. Great quote.

"You cannot do a kindness too soon, for you never know how soon it will be too late."
-Ralph Waldo Emerson

Well hello again!

Since I had a few moments I thought I'd put in another quick update. (:

I've had a wonderful, and much needed, weekend at home. I'll be ready to go again come Monday. I can hardly wait. Fencing and horseback riding, all in the same week! ^_^

Mum's sending me back with more food. That's the best! And I actually brought home some laundry too, so I'm quite pleased. Not only did I get to sleep in my own bed, and visit with my family (don't forget the pets!), but I get food and laundry out of the deal! Sweet.

I've actually done some homework this weekend too. Mind you, not much, but I still think it's rather impressive!

Unfortunately, during that downpour (which I rather enjoyed) I was throughly soaked on my way home, but the problem is, so was my backpack. I biked as fast as I could, but it wasn't enough. Most of my books managed to get wet. Urg. I think I'll leave plastic bags in my school bag from now on, to protect them next time......

All is well in my world. Too many things have happened for me really to know where to start so I'm afraid the more dull details have been posted thus far, but this is mostly because I'm in a hurry. ^_~

Have a great week back at the grind! I'm sure I'll see most of you soon!

Ta da!

I certainly left this a long time, and as I promised everyone's favorite Punk Rock Princess, here I am again! It's hard not to get busy when school starts!

Life's been loads of fun. I had an outstanding welcome week with the SOCS. Then I was plunged into classes and the academic nightmare that I so missed. Not to mention the paperwork to fix my mixed up classes.... (:

I'm taking fencing! Very exciting!!

Not too many funny or even interesting stories to relate today I'm afraid. Unless you count our brutal loss to the other Ultimate Frisbee team today. 15 - 0. Keep in mind these guys are going to the Nationals. I have no idea what we were doing playing them, but we had a good time. ^_^ We cheered the loudest that's for sure! (:

I have plenty of mundane everyday type things going on. I don't go out enough now though, so I've decided I'll have to change that soon, but not this weekend, I'm going home. (:

Unfortunately that means I'm going to miss the fair, but those plans are falling through anyhow. Too bad, that was one of the highlights of last year!

Well, this is just a quick, I'm still alive and I'll get back to you again eventually!

Hope everyone's having fun and keeping up with all that reading! I think I might be behind already, too busy studying my Japanese Hiragana (?). Anyways, still have reading to do and a test to study for so I'd better run!

JA!
